Students must provide a valid California DMV instructional permit prior to making an appointment.
*A 24-hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel the session to avoid a $160 fee.

Yes. We welcome parent ride-alongs. Some

Yes. California law requires a learner’s permit
for behind-the-wheel instruction. You can
begin your lessons with us as soon as you
pass your written test at the DMV. You must
bring your permit to all of your lessons.
✓ Can I use your car for the DMV test?
Yes. Once your training is complete, we offer a
special DMV Test Lesson. We’ll review
everything, drive you to the test, and you’ll
use our car for the exam.

California requires 6 hours of professional
behind-the-wheel instruction. We divide that
into three 2-hour lessons — structured,
strategic, and always instructor-led. Many
